Reykjavík
Reykjavík: the capital of Iceland and the northernmost capital in the world
Let’s not forget that you must visit Reykjavík, walk, eat and drink (discover the Walking Tour with the best rating on TripAdvisor HERE) and, of course, visit FlyOver Iceland and Perlan, which will show you everything you haven’t seen yet.
Start at the Hallgrímskirkja church and marvel at its simplicity. Stop by Café Loki to sample Icelandic delicacies. Lamb’s head, shark and a shot of Brennivín, some dried cod with butter and a sweet bread with salmon.
Pass by Lake Tjörnin and walk around it. Discover the shops in Laugavegur and go up Skólavörðurstígur to take the coveted photograph of Hallgrímskirkja. Reykjavík is small and only has around 150,000 people, but it has some thermal pools that you don’t want to miss. Visit Sundhöllin, the oldest swimming pool in Reykjavík.
We hope you enjoyed our guide and that it was useful to you. Share with your friends on social networks and have a good trip 🙂
